Garden Grove’s Second Annual Winter in the Grove will Take Place on December 12

Due to the rain last week, Garden Grove’s second annual Winter in the Grove has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 12th, from 5 PM to 8 PM in Village Green Park.

Check out this festive and family-friendly community celebration that will include entertainment, snow slides, craft boutique, classic and exotic car show, spectacular tree lighting, and a visit from Santa.  We hope to see you all there!

New Barber Shop Opens in Downtown Santa Ana

Historic French Park Neighborhood Coffee

More than 50 residents attended last night’s Historic French Park Neighborhood coffee to talk about a range of topics. Thank you to Ebell Society of Santa Ana, Latino Health Access, Santa Ana Police Department, Logan Neighborhood Assn., Lacy Neighborhood Assn., and French Park Plaza President Venancio Chavez helping facilitate this great event.

OC Health Care Agency is Hosting Three Red Cross Blood Drives

The Orange County Health Care Agency is teaming up with the Red Cross this month to host three blood drive events in Santa Ana.

You can sign up online at http://redcrossblood.org and use Sponsor Code: OC 1. Below are the days and times!

The YMCA of Orange County Offers a Variety of Programs for Residents!

Year-round, the YMCA of Orange County focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. They have recently implemented a free ESL class for Spanish speaking adults that will provide them the opportunity for job advancement and homework assistance for their children.

Below are some of the classes offered at the YMCA. Scholarships are available for most of their programs. Check out their website for more information.

  • Swimming lessons (private or group) time/day availability varies
  • Adaptive swimming lessons for children with special needs
  • Preschool and youth soccer classes and recreational leagues
  • Competitive swim team
  • Specialty day camps during school breaks
  • Adult soccer leagues
