Supervisor Andrew Do Sponsors Tzu Chi Free Health Fair

On Sunday, Supervisor Do’s Office sponsored the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Health Fair at the Boys and Girls Club in Santa Ana. The Tzu Chi Foundation regularly conducts community clinics benefitting the underserved communities of Orange County and beyond. Services offered included medical, dental, vision and a host of other services. Supervisor Do’s staff were in attendance to assist and provide attendees with information about the County of Orange. Thank you Dr. Chen and the Tzu Chi Foundation for hosting this health fair in Santa Ana for the past five years. Many members of the community have benefitted from Tzu Chi’s commitment to providing these services to Orange County.

Mile Square Park Holds Kids Fishing Derby
|
|
Rain did not stop this Saturday morning’s Kids Fishing Derby at Mile Square Park. The lake was recently stocked with 1500 pounds of catfish and trout for kids and their families to catch. This event regularly draws large crowds and provides a rare opportunity for many in Central Orange County to fish for free. Thank you to Orange County Parks, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Sergio Fainsztein along with his staff from Angler Chronicles for making sure families enjoyed the derby rain or shine!

Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Business and Leadership

Last Tuesday, the Fountain Chamber of Commerce held their annual Business & Leadership Awards Dinner at Mile Square Golf Course. Vice Chairwoman Michelle Steel and Supervisor Andrew Do joined in recognizing local business leaders in different areas such as community spirit, leadership excellence, ambassadorship for the chamber, and much more. Thank you to the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce for highlighting incredible businesses in our community and congratulations to all of the awardees!
